Get ready for an awesome day in Downtown LaBelle on the 4th of July! LDRC is throwing an EXPLOSIVE Celebration in honor of America’s Birthday!

SHOW OFF YOUR AMERICAN PRIDE AT OUR STARS AND STRIPES PARADE! Lineup starts at 3pm in the Dollar General Marketplace parking lot. The Stars and Stripes Parade kicks off at 3:30pm.

PARTICIPATION IS FREE!

WE ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION AND WELCOME CANDY BEING HANDED OUT, PLEASE NO THROWING.

DOGS, HORSES AND OTHER CRITTERS ARE WELCOME; PLEASE REMEMBER TO PICK UP AFTER YOUR PETS!!

THE PARADE ROUTE WILL START AT THE DOLLAR GENERAL MARKETPLACE, PROCEEDS NORTH ON MAIN STREET TO DESOTO AVENUE AND ENDS AT BARRON PARK. ROUTE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

First, start off in this t-shirt all white and ready for some BRIGHT COLORS!

Then, party with these sunglasses, tattoos, and LOTS AND LOTS more cool stuff in this great RACING BAG!!!

Run or Walk your way through 1.776K of canopied oak trees from Captain Hendry House to Barron Park. Get your colors through several powder stations and stick around for the last blast photo-op at the end of the run/walk!

Let’s meet at 5pm for a warm-up session with Zumba Fitness LaBelle with Bella @ Captain Hendry House (512 Fraser Ave). We will have a color blast at the start of the race (5:25pm approximately) to get those white shirts going!

There will be changing tents located in Barron Park for those that would like to change after the Color Fun Run.

Please note: If you signed up for Vote By Mail with your ballot mailed to your Florida address, the Post Office cannot and will not forward it. You can contact the Hendry County Elections Office, (863)675-5230, and request a Vote By Mail ballot. If you do, make certain it gets back to the Elections Office no later than 5 p.m. on election day.

We just know this will be a fantastic production! How do we know? It has LaBelle youth performers!! Reserve your tickets now, these shows sell out quickly!

Lisa Sands and the United Way staff will be at Dollar General with shopping carts ready for your helpful donations after you Cash Mob! The supplies will go towards the Back to School LaBelle Expo (see below). Let’s make sure our kids are taken care of this school year!

We had the smallest population of all of the contests in the semifinal round which just goes to show how awesome y’all are!

Did you know that LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation is part of the National Main Street Movement? We use the proven skills used by thousands of communities that recognize downtowns are the heart of our communities, and that a community is only as strong as its core.

We invite you to join us at our board meeting scheduled the 2nd Monday of each month at our office located at 8 Park Avenue. We will not meet in July but will get back to it on August 12th at 6pm. Also, Kelly Boone, Executive Director will be out of the office from July 5th to the 15th on vacation (ahhh).
